IT Technical Operations Specialist:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Operations Specialist to join our BAO Technical Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with expertise in Azure DevOps, SQL, Kubernetes, and troubleshooting operational & user issues.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions in alignment with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot issues with Kubernetes via kubectl and/or management tools such as
Rafay or Docker.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts for database management, data manipulation, and reporting purposes.
- Utilize DataDog for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
- Advise on monitoring, and work with the team to enhance existing monitoring to improve
our ability to respond to issues.
- Analyze logs and metrics using Datadog, Splunk, or native tools to identify and address
potential issues proactively.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery using
Azure DevOps.
Skills Profile:
- Proficiency in SQL querying language for database management and reporting.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and its microservices.
- Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as DataDog, Splunk, AppInsights &
Log Analytics
- Handson experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment. -Understanding of pipeline creation and management is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross functional Teams.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps) are a plus. - Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and task orchestration.
-SQL & PowerShell scripting is ideal, experience with Datadog or Splunk is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4+ years of experience in IT technical operations or a similar role.
Demonstrated experience in scripting, cloud services, and development methodologies.
